Behold, the critique video for SG Photo Challenge #16 - Neighbourhood plus I bundled in the next challenge for numero 19. It will be on getting amazingly awesome magic hour shots. Shots taken at sunrise or sunset when the light in the sky looks absolutely stunning.
There's an app that will help you with this next challenge. It is the Golden Hour app and it is free to download. This app will remind you when magic hour is upon you so you know exactly when to grab your camera and head out for some magical shots. You can download it here.
Also while I'm giving out helpful tips, here's another. If you don't know about CreativeLIVE you should check it out. It is a great resource for training and can be free if you tune in to the courses you want while they're live. There's a great one on right now for shooting in low light situations instructed by Jared Polin (FroKnowsPhoto.com). This site is almost always playing in one of my browser tabs as I'm working. It's great for picking up new ideas and techniques.
Click to watch the critique above to see the shots that were submitted to the week's challenge. Then head over to the Facebook gallery to give them some likes and your own comments.
The next challenge for Magic Hour is due June 20th to give you more time. Magic hour is only at specific times of the day so some more planning is required to get out at the right time. Looking forward to seeing the magical shots that you folk submit.
Help spread this challenge around and get your fellow shooters in on it. Submit your shots via the SG Photo form.
